This project was done in collaboration with Dana J., Kristina S., Mareeya M., and Vince V. for a human centered design (and user experience) course.
The project focuses on the local transport system and the frustrations that surround it for both new and existing users. This project is not affiliated with MVG or MVV and does not take into account the financial logistics if it were to be implemented.
In order to gain more insights into the problem statement as shown above, empathizing with the user group, surveys, and researching about other transport system in the world was done accordingly.
To narrow down the focus, the project aimed to target foreigners that were encountering the transport system for the very first time.
From the persona and user journey map, 3 key areas of focus was chosen which lead to the development of ideas for potential solutions.
As a result, 5 of the most innovative ideas were thoroughly explored and prototyped along with explanations as to why it would be feasible (based on research and inspiration from other cities' transportation systems).
